Our Story
From Carmel Builders to Alair Homes Milwaukee
Carmel Builders was founded with a simple belief: homeowners deserve to know exactly what their home will cost before construction begins. For over two decades, we have built custom homes and completed major renovations across Greater Milwaukee, earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship and honest communication.
In 2024, we joined the Alair Homes network. Alair is a national network of independent custom home builders who share a commitment to fixed-price contracts and open-book accounting. Joining Alair gave our clients access to proprietary project management technology, a national warranty program, and a building process that has been refined across hundreds of projects nationwide.
Tom Weiher leads every project personally. He is on-site regularly, available by phone, and accountable for the outcome. When you build with Carmel Builders, you work with Tom and a small team of professionals who know your project inside and out.
